Once that first real thaw happens, they seem pretty tolerant of occasional overnight re-freezing. I was totally awed by the variety of calls in those Georgia nightlife and subsequent samples. Around here it's wood frog &/or chorus frog (our one toad species doesn't seem to advertise). Makes for pretty simple inventory work!
