Hail no as the weatherperson said! Never really looked at that, uh, brick
as an option for me...

...but the new Hi-MD I'm keen for, as it'll swap into my kit without
changing anything else -- batteries, bags, pelican cases, mics, heck even
the pen I use to write on the disks! -- and give me that much more... :)

You are too kind, but it's worth mentioning I'm taking exactly the same
old kit with me on this trip I leave for in two weeks! :) (Well, a new
outboard preamp to play with, but it's an incremental addition and the
same size as a couple of MDs so...)

PS Well, actually I must admit I was thinking of packing one of microphone
madness's sennheiser-based cardoids-on-goosnecks pairs, to try a little
ORTF-in-my-backpocket action -- I believe they use MKE capsules -- I'd
welcome any comments if anyone's familiar with them! :)
