As hard as these were to photograph, there were comments about sticking
them in the freezer, stomping on them or whatever to get them to hold
still long enough to photograph. These guys can try your patience. And
you have invested over 10 hours of driving, donated to the mosquito
blood drive and so on to get these hyperactive bits.

One only has to remember that there are two well recognized species of
Gray Treefrog that you can hold the two in your hands and have no hope
from what you can see of telling the species apart. Call or genetics is
it. And the hybrid Gray X Bird-voiced is barely distinguishable from
those two visually. And calls just like one of them.
We'll see where it leads. Certainly no matter what to a new little bit
of knowledge. I've been into biology too long to expect much more.
