Son of cheap stereo

Continuing my experiments in stereo recording with the
Radio Shack Stereo Clip-On microphone, I have
constructed an ambient sound microphone on the plan of
a SASS. Yesterday was an almost windless day so I took
it out for a spin to a local Nature Conservancy
preserve and set up next to a vernal pond. Lucky for
me the frogs were calling and I made some experimental
recordings with my SONY MZ-R70. Here is a web page
with some results. I chose a mpeg compression scheme
available on CoolEdit. If it is not compatible with
most computers I'll download more conventional (much
larger) formats.
