Both, and it sounds like you have a very good pair of mikes there,
get out and enjoy them!
I record with a pair of omnis, Shure 183s, mounted on the shoulders
of a vest, in home made fuzzy windscreens made of fabric over wire
mesh. My biggest problem is my stomach gurgling.
