wow, you did a great job at taking a good look at your mics.
I am not an expert here but I do note the the trade off of having
decent sensitivity with having a flat freq response. If I am wanting
a flat response and a real good match I will take the real small
Crown elements about 1/4 inch across. If I want a great sensitivity
I will take the 1" RF condensor capsule. I don't think there is a
perfect mate here although we keep looking. I appreciate your giving
the input on the best you have found. Maybe someone else here can
comment on a configuration that clearly wins.
Either way I too am a fan of working and fighting with omnis.
