A visitor to Canberra has sent me these photos and would appreciate comments or information about the photographed duck.
His message is also included:
I was in Canberra this week and saw an unusual duck in the company of a Pacific Black Duck. They swam together and flew off together when a fisherman cast his line at them despite seeing me trying to get a photo.
Can you put this image to Canberra Birds forum and ask if they have seen this duck? I presume it’s just a different colour. It was photographed by me yesterday (Wed) at Yarralumla Bay in front of the ADFA Boatshed.
