My favorite bird is the yellow-rumped thornbill. In primary school I would always hear the tinkling calls of some small birds, which I then called xylophone birds. I now know they are the yellow-rumped thornbills, and I am drawn to them because of their liveliness, but mostly it is the twitching they make as they move around singing. Matt. |
