If a Wednesday Walk is to happen on schedule it should be next week, 21 January. Consulting the 10 day forecast from weather.com the maximum temperature is given as 32C with 0 POP but no indication of wind strength. What are people's views: go ahead or wait 'til February? If we go ahead, what venue? In November a suggestion of Hall grasslands was made but I wonder about wandering through reptile infested grass in those conditions. How about Stirling Park or the Pryor Arboretum (Yarramundi Reach)? Both near the Lake so are likely to be as cool as anywhere and perhaps the Lake water will attract thirsty birds? Other suggestions?? Martin |
