As for giving the name in full first and then the
abbreviation, to then repeat it. Is that really a benefit? The thing
about computers is that they copy and paste easily. Therefore once you have
written the name first time, it can just be copied, and that removes benefit of
abbreviating for subsequent usages. In fact it is the first usage that involves
the typing.
I still think we should all be able to keep
in comprehension of a small number of acronyms and terms
within an ongoing discussion.
