Following Paul's comment about the comet (I don't know which one). A few years ago, when Hale-Bob comet came past, I was with a group of COGites at the spot above Angle Crossing (Smiths Road) for the honeyeater survey. A car load of people stopped and asked what we were doing. Were we watching for the comet? In the middle of a sunny April morning! That is as odd as the people who once accused me and my fellow bird surveyor (back in 1982, near Brisbane) of being Uranium prospectors!
