I think you're probably right, in terms of one individual bird. Richard's points are very relevant too. The Regent Honeyeaters at Castle Hill drew a huge crowd of COGites years ago. Which is the next closest but that was a one day event. But remember about "rooster one day, feather duster the next". As in fame like that is ephemeral. It is the location that is the drawcard. We are pretty sure that these are resident in the Namadgi NP how many of us have seen them there? The effort to find them is so much more, than following an easy description of a site in ANBG.
