If one were being anthropomorphic, one might sometimes accuse birds of
being perverse. Just this morning at Acacia Inlet I was musing how noisy
and conspicuous were the numerous reed warblers, at a time when I might
have expected them to be settling down a bit. Who knows, Bruce?!
