There were 2 in a small eucalypt (abt 4 m tall but next to a larger Pine tree) on the footpath 2 doors up from our house in the southern part of Gordon late in the afternoon of 23 December. It was a nice early Christmas treat!
They are never plentiful down this way - I guess we would see one or two in the suburb about 3 or 4 times a year.
