Hi,
I was wondering if somebody could help. I've got this trip
http://aussiebirding.wildiaries.com/trips/10263 to Daydream Island from a few
years back. Locally, they refer to the macropods as "rock wallabies" but
there's really only two types that could occur: Proserpine and Unadorned.
The animals have some striping in the tail and black tail-tip but are generally
plain coloured. They don't look like rock-wallabies facially - more like
kangaroos, but they are not big enough.
Anyone have any knowledge / suggestions about what these are?
Regards,
Simon.
