I am putting my money on Walllaroo Macropus robustus on the basis that:

the rhinarium (the area around the nose and upper lip) is bare and black - it is hairy in Eastern Grey Kangaroos;

the head shape is more Wallaroo;

the ears are large and hairy inside;

the hindquarters appear reddish brown - a character of female Wallaroos;


the solid build.

It is definitely not a wallaby of any type as they all have white face stripes.

A clearer photo would be nice but I presume that this is the only one available. I can see why Bill thought that it was an Eastern Grey but for the above reasons I don't agree with him.
