As a kid in the late 70s I spent a few summers staying with relatives on
a farm at beautiful Kennedys Creek inland from Port Campbell, and while
Yellow-tailed Black Cockatoos were common I remember several sightings
of small flocks of black cockatoos which were noticeably different and I
was sure were Red-tailed Blacks - not Glossy Blacks which I was becoming
familiar with living close to Kuringai National Park in Sydney in those
days.
