Hi all,

I ended up buying the 10 X 42 Zeiss after looking at both the Swarovski
and
Leica.

I bought them from BOCA because they gave me the best price and settled
on
the Zeiss, after trying for hours to work out which make was optically
superior, which were the more comfortable to hold, which had the best
warranty, which were the prettiest, which had the nicest carry case and
which had the highest prestige (or "X") factor. The only reason I could
find to favour the Zeiss? They are about 5 grams lighter than the others
-
and if you stand very still with your eyes closed and concentrate, with
Zeiss in one hand and Leica in the other, you can actually feel that the
Zeiss are lighter.

Of course, now that I own them, the Zeiss are far and away the superior
choice of the three, and also the prettiest, oh, and they came with a
nice
blue and white key chain.

Good luck making a choice. From what I have seen over the last couple of
years it is purely personal preference, but the Zeiss are certainly
better
than my old 10 X 25 Nikons (which now live in the glove box for
emergencies).

Jen
