Sat 13 Jul	Pied Oystercatcher Clontarf Point 35 Pied Oystercatchers at Clontarf end of Houghton Highway Peter Crane
	Black Kite Griffin Flock of 57 birds approached from west and circled on thermals before drifting off towards coast. Andy Jensen
Fri 12 Jul	White-throated Nightjar John Oxley Reserve, Murrumba Downs A single bird sighted resting along a horizontal branch high in a tree near the path down to the river. Jack Whiting
Thu 11 Jul	Powerful Owl Sheepstation Creek Conservation Park, Caboolture A pair of roosting Powerful Owls observed on the Spotted Gum track. Stuart Kelly, Carla Perkins
Wed 10 Jul	Double-banded Plover Shellgrit Creek mouth, Mackay 28 Double-banded Plovers roosting on the high-tide line at the creek mouth. Brendan Cook & Chris Perry
Tue 9 Jul	Freckled Duck Priors Pocket Road, Priors Pocket Three, possibly same birds as reported on 9 June; two were up-ending, presumably feeding, in this highly-disturbed water body (muddy edges trampled by cattle). Roger Jaensch
Mon 8 Jul	Freckled Duck, Black Falcon, Red-backed Kingfisher, Black-tailed Nativehen Lotus Lagoon, Rockhampton Waterfowl in abundance throughout Rockhamptons ephemeral wetlands. Highlights were a single Freckled Duck, a pair of Red-backed Kingfishers perched on the airport perimeter fence, a Black Falcon being mobbed by Black Kites and 8 Black-tailed Nativehens. Also in good numbers were Pinked-eared Ducks and Great Crested Grebes. Large 4m Saltwater Crocodile also patrolling the lagoon. Brendan Cook & Chris Perry
	Little Black Cormorant, Pied Cormorant, Freckled Duck, Cotton Pygmy-Goose, Pink-eared Duck Dowse Lagoon, Sandgate The highlight this afternoon was @250 Little Black Cormorants coming in to land in front of the Southerden St platform, covered the water on landing and then moved en masse to the island to join those already present, 360 in total. With them was also 1 Pied Cormorant - not seen here very often. Pink-eared Ducks now number 78, 3 Cotton Pygmy-Geese (2f, 1m) plus 2 Freckled Duck. 100+ mix of Grey and Chestnut Teal. Ged Tranter
	Freckled Duck Lake Macdonald, Sunshine Coast Has been in the same spot for 2 weeks, first found by Anne Burgess.. first record for Sunshine Coast Greg Roberts
Sat 6 Jul	Australian Owlet Nightjar Kalpowar road lake, Lakefield National Park Did the call to it and sat above us on a night hike and it would reply with its call. Sam Ford
Thu 4 Jul	Satin Bowerbird, Noisy Pitta, Spectacled Monarch Gold Creek Road (uppermost sections) Three Satin Bowerbirds along road; one feeding on fruit (guava?). Five or six Spectacled Monarchs, scattered; much calling. Pitta called twice from closed scrub. Roger Jaensch and Julian Reid
