Sun 30 Jun	Australaian Shoveler Buckley's Hole, Bribie Island While showing people the Freckled Duck with the scope today on Buckley's Hole a pair of Shoveler's swam into view of the scope. Peter Boyd
	Black-tail Native Hen Old Ropely Road, Gatton 2 x very timid birds viewed for about 20mins. Feel there might have been up to 5 birds that fled when we first arrived. Pauline Brennan & Kim Cumes
	Black-tailed Native-hen Old Ropely Road, Gatton, QLD Very timid birds, photo'd from a distance at first, then later closed viewed from the road. 2 viewed for a while, but do feel more were there in beginning when first spotted and they hid. May have been up to 5. Pauline Brennan & Kim Cumes
	Australasian Shoveller, Freckled Duck, Old Ropely Road, Gatton, QLD 4 males & females of shoveller. 3 Freckled Ducks Kim Cumes & Pauline Brennan
	Black Kites Nambour - Maroochydore A small flock of 12+ Black Kites seen circling low over a turf farm between Nambour and Maroochydore on Petrie Creek Road. Ken Cross
	Asian Dowitcher Osprey House Environmental Centre Previously reported bird on the Pine River this am at low tide well upstream from Osprey House. Very distant from this site. A rising or high tide may be best time to look for this bird. I also suspect that the image from Friday is from the wetland in Dohles Rocks and NOT Greens Road wetland. It certainly looks like the wetland at Dohles Rocks and this may be best place to try at high tide. Also c.25 Avocet on river and native-hen continues in Dohles Rocks. Andy Jensen

Sat 29 Jun	Pink-eared Duck, Freckled Duck Lake Galletly, Gatton University 60+ Pink Eared ducks easily viewed from road and bird hide + 3 Freckled Ducks. Pauline Brennan & Kim Cumes
	Buller's, Campbell, Black-browed & Indian Yellow-nosed Albatross, Northern Giant-Petrel, Cape Petrel Southport Pelagic 2 adult Buller's, 1 adult Campbell, 1-2 imm. Black-browed & 2 adult Indian Yellow-nosed Albatross, 1 juv. Northern Giant-Petrel, 1 Cape Petrel (australe), 1 Grey-faced Petrel (Great-winged gouldi). Plus Wilson's Storm-Petrel, Fairy Prion, Hutton's Shearwater, Providence Petrel, Australasian Gannet, Crested & Common Tern, Silver Gull, Humpback Whale, Short-beaked Common Dolphin and - on the beach on the way out - Beach Stone-Curlew. 	Freckled Duck Tea Tree Wetlands, Arundel A pair of Freckled Ducks observed at close quarters along the main drain line that leads to the large main pond. Brendan Cook & Marty Ziviani
	Fairy Prion, Giant Petrel Point Lookout, North Stradbroke Island Highlights of a morning seawatch were over 80 Prions. All birds seen well were Fairys and the majority heading North. Some very close in and feeding just off the rocks at the Point. Also 2 Giant Petrels (1 definite Northern), 60+ Gannets and 20 Fluttering Shearwaters. Stuart Pickering and Colin Reid

	Painted Button Quail Boscombe Rd, Brookfield They are back at our block after being absent for 2 years. Very friendly pair gave incredible views. Chris Read
	Noisy Miner Taigum Centro car park, Taigum A rare Birdline report for a Noisy Miner, an unusual leucistic bird was in the car park this morning, being white it stood out immediately. Ged Tranter

	Glossy Ibis (4) William Guise Foxwell Park, Coomera Waters Not sure if this is unusual or not being a visiting southerner but I was surprised to see 4 Glossy Ibis feeding on the flooded oval at the above site right beside a busy boat ramp. Max O'Sullivan
	Black Kites Eagleby/ Beenleigh area about 3pm- Easily well over a hundred strong kettle of kites, maybe more moving along with the breeze looking fantastic. Duncan Fowler & The Varghese Family
	Australasian Shoveler Carbrook Wetlands, Cnr Ferry Rd & Beenleigh/Redland Bay rd At least 6 here was a treat. Also suspect a Swamp Harrier may be nesting here Duncan Fowler & Varghese family
	bush stone curlew old franklins caroark George st, Beenleigh This bird has been here for a few months now living in this small garden with street lights directly above. Brian Buss
	Australian Little Bittern Sandy Camp Road Wetlands Reserve Similar to the one reported on 16/6 one flushed this morning from the vegetation next to the path approaching the viewing platform on the way out this morning at 10.30am. It didn't fly far but took cover in the vegetation on landing and wasn't viewed again. Marie Tarrant

	Spotted Harrier, Little Eagle, Square tailed Kite various Sunshine Coast Spotted Harrier - 2 working fields east side of road between Yandina and north Arm Little Eagle - same site Little Eagle - seen soaring over Mapleton, first record for me for this site. [previously two days earlier in Mary Valley near Obi Obi Crreek.] ST Kite - one bird persisting over greater Nambour; seen periodically over the last three weeks. Ken Cross

	Fairy Prion, Giant Petrel, Sooty Shearwater Pt Lookout, North Stradbroke Island In 6 hours seawatch - approx 300 Fairy Prions moving north, most within 200 mtrs of headland. 1 Giant Petrel & 1 Sooty Shearwater heading south, approx 100 Fluttering type Shearwaters (98 north), 40 Gannets.....and 5 Hardheads (south). 	Freckled Duck, Australasian Shoveller, Pink-eared Duck Mt Kilcoy meatworks, Winya Rd Five Freckled Duck in company with 6 pairs of Shoveller and 4 Pink-eared Duck in last lagoon. Eight Red-kneed Dotterel also present, and pair of Brown Falcon R.Lamb & M.Dam

Mon 24 Jun	Australian Masked Owl Brookfield (private property) A pair put on quite a visual and audio show. Picture of the male is attached. Chris Wiley and Scott van Barneveld
	Freckled Duck Lake McDonald near Cooroy 4 Freckled ducks observed near the south side end of L McDonald. Went to check on the bird reproted and found four. Ken Cross
	Fairy Prion (3) Point Lookout, North Stradbroke Island Two birds seen from the headland at 10:30 this morning. Another seen sitting on the water about twenty minutes later. Steve Murray
Sun 23 Jun	Little Bronze Cuckoo, Spectacled Monarchs, Plumed Whistling Ducks Bli Bli Wetalnds, Sunshine Coast LB Cuckoo seen near Bli Bli Wetlands in scrub between cleared fields and cane plantations. A migrant to Eastern Australia and it has been reported as it is rarely recorded over winter. Spectacled Monarchs - several seen and heard near Bli Bli wetlands. A large flock of Plumed Whistling - circa 150 birds on farm dam near Bli Bli. large flock for Sunshine Coast. Ken Cross
Sat 22 Jun	Red-rumped Parrot 22 Woodcliffe Crescent, Woody Point Pair on powerline close to pair of Pale-headed Rosellas in adjacent Casuarina. Parrots follwed rosellas when they left. Aviary escapees? Paul Marty
