As per Chris Watson's earlier sighting
Bird still present at around midday today. I visited site in overcast and drizzle affected conditions and after a brief wait of around 20 minutes it showed up and walked quietly along lawn edge for about two minutes before retreating....fascinating!

Lone bird, perhaps same bird seen on previous occasions. Observed in north eastern end of farm.

Australian Bustard
Gorge Road (Giles Rd) Katherine to Nitmiluk
Moderator Note: Included report as interesting opportunity to see large numbers of species:
Australian Bustard (20) For those interested, there are a great number of Bustards (20 seen this trip) around half way along the road, at Kumbidgee Lodge area. A rural area with cleared open spaces. If observed for long enough, you might be lucky enough to see a male displaying. Entered by Mick Jerram

Forest Wagtail still present. The site where the bird has been showing is still contactable through Nthaba Cottage B&B.
