Published sightings for the week ending 12 May 2013.

Sun 12 May Forest Wagtail As per Chris Watson's earlier sighting
Bird still present at around midday today. I visited site in overcast and drizzle affected conditions and after a brief wait of around 20 minutes it showed up and walked quietly along lawn edge for about two minutes before retreating....fascinating!

Black-breasted Buzzard (1) On elrundie av circling low over road near Marlow lagoon entrance

Tue 7 May Freckled Duck Leanyer/Sanderson Sewage works
Lone bird, perhaps same bird seen on previous occasions. Observed in north eastern end of farm. Sorry about the poor photo!

Tue 7 May Australian Bustard Gorge Road (Giles Rd) Katherine to Nitmiluk
Moderator Note: Included report as interesting opportunity to see large numbers of species: Australian Bustard (20) For those interested, there are a great number of Bustards (20 seen this trip) around half way along the road, at Kumbidgee Lodge area. A rural area with cleared open spaces. If observed for long enough, you might be lucky enough to see a male displaying. Entered by Mick Jerram

Forest Wagtail still present. The site where the bird has been showing is still contactable through Nthaba Cottage B&B.
