pond 11 island
Latham's Snipe (Gallinago hardwickii) (2) 1 seen in reeds on pond 10; 1 on the
island on pond 7
Baillon's Crake (Porzana pusilla) (1) 1 seen in reeds on pond 5
Brown Quail (Coturnix ypsilophora) (2) 2 seen to the side of pond 1
Australian Spotted Crake (Porzana fluminea) (25+) Throughout the Wetlands
Clear sky; temp about 23 degrees with refreshing breeze. Water level on pond 10
quite low.
