Hello, This Shearwater was photographed on the August 19th Wollongong Pelagic, 2012. The other birds were quite obvious (excluding the few White-capped Albatross), and we even had some ID help afterwards (thanks to Chris S.) but my colleague just sent me this photo and I cannot be sure of its identification. The jizz brings a Wedge-tailed Shearwater to mind, but I think we never saw one that seems to be so pale underneath. Maybe the strong light plays a trick on this one? I would really appreciate all available help in this matter.
