I take on board the complexities of geography and local administrative
arrangements offered by others. My thoughts were: I wonder what the Glossy
Ibis thinks in terms of continuity of habitat from the outer Brisbane
suburbs and how important the distinction is. Likely the bird doesn't know
and most observers would. I also thought Bob's plea:  could have been "a
little more thoughtful" towards the original poster, if it simply offered a
correction, on what I presume was a minor point to the report of the bird.
