I too received an unsolicited email from these people and -- after conducting
some checks and seeing what they are offering -- have provided a little
monetary support by pre-buying the DVD because I am totally in favour of their
goals.
I have no idea how they got my email address but to be honest I felt intrigued
by their initial email, not threatened.
I do hope people will cut them a bit of slack because they obviously thought
they were contacting like-minded people who wouldn't object to such approaches.
They may be naive when it comes to the ins and outs of marketing but I the
contact I have had with them since receiving that first email has convinced me
that their hearts are in the right place and that their initiative is
worthwhile.
