Sending unsolicited commercial messages is illegal in Australia -
http://www.acma.gov.au/WEB/STANDARD/pc=PC_300029. Whether the cause is good
or not - and I agree that this seems to be a perfectly legitimate project -
is irrelevant.
Hopefully this is not the start of a trend!
