In reeds edging the main lily pad area, half way along, views from the hide, photo from the opposite end of the pads. 5.15pm onwards.

Not a patch on Tom and Marie's numbers but c.30 White-browed Woodswallow high over the house mid am moving slowly north pausing only to mob the local Whistling Kites.
Obviously an influx into the area by the looks of things

A group of ten birds were observed flying low over Len & Muriel Godlonton Reserve heading north in the late afternoon.

White-browed Woodswallow
Metroplex Wetlands, Brisbane
Male observed in flight at around 1600hrs. A pair located subsequently on the eastern side of the north-facing viewing platform in a Moreton Bay Ash. Both birds were feeding quietly, but actively, on lerps.
