I insure everything of mine with RAA Insurance ( Adelaide). I get cover for
all my birding gear by specifying details ( as I previously stated) and by
paying a higher premium to include those specific items.
The flood cover on my house is a bit woolly but as I live on high enough
ground to avoid any possibility of flood I'm not concerned. No rivers, no
reservoirs, no flood plains.

I'd be interested to know which companies will insure scopes and binos? I've
never been able to include them under household or travel insurance as there
is a limit (way below the value of the equipment) on individual items.
