COG arranged two back-to-back pelagics out of Eden over the past weekend. A proper report from trip leader Dan Mantle will follow, but the highlight was a Great Shearwater seen on the shelf on Saturday; interesting in light of the bird observed at Eaglehawk the previous weekend. Some of the other highlights over the weekend also included Bullers, Indian Yellow-nose, Shy, Campbell's, Black-browed and Wandering Albatrosses, White-chinned (and possible Black), Kermadec and Great-winged Petrels and Arctic and Pomarine Jaeger, Fairy Prion and Wilson's and White-face Storm Petrels.
