Hi everyone,

I thought my lyrebird posting would open up a can of pandoras. My
challenge stands - can anyone direct me to a recording of a wild lyrebird
mimicing a mechanical sound? In this day of the ubiquitous iPhone and
other cheap recording devices I expect some good news in the near future.
I certainly believe it is possible - I just haven't heard the evidence.

Best regards, Richard (the sceptic)
