Hi Dick,



I think you will find that the best one is SASOL Birds of Southern Africa by 
Ian Sinclair, Phil Hockey and Warwick Tarboton published by Struik.  It was the 
one recommended to us by Rockjumper Birding Tours - a very well known and 
competent company.  We have used it twice and found it to be excellent.



Enjoy birding in Africa - it is great and so good that in May we intend to 
return to "do" Tanzania and Kenya.
