Here is some Cicada info from NSW http://australianmuseum.net.au/Cicadas-Superfamily-Cicadoidea Smokey Buzzers - native Basalt Plains Grassland cicadas, can be seen and heard in the grasslands near me (N subs Melboure) each year, late Nov - December. They are preyed on by assorted birds and invertebrates. wendy |
