Hi all
As has been mentioned SA has its own system, birdpedia. This works
well but it's unfortunate that SA is not in line with the rest of the
country. It would be good if a birdpedia 'stream' could appear on the
bird-o website or somewhere similar. Of course it would be even better
if everyone used the same system.... I've cc'ed Martyn Price, the
'brains' behind birdpedia to see what can be done to improve the
situation.

I'd also like to echo recent reports about Gluepot - the place is
'going off' at the moment! Apart from the species already mentioned,
Striated Grasswrens and Red-lored Whistlers are other highlights that
are experiencing a good season. The only species giving rise for
concern is the Black-eared Miner - there has been an ongoing decline
since the Dec '06 fires.

cheers
