Dear Birders, I visited the Mount Annan Botanic Gardens today and picked up a copy of the bird list that they kindly provide. I note that the list includes Paradise Shelduck Tadorna variegata which seems like a very unlikely sighting. Does anyone know the provenance of this record? It could have been an escapee possibly or is it an error and appears instead of Australian Shelduck.
