Brisbane Airport, look in any flowering trees in the car park at
Domestic. If trees are flowering there's a very good chance here.

Dear All,
I'm heading up to the Gold Coast/Surfer's Paradise tomorrow for a one
day trip (staying overnight with my son for a football match) but
would like to see Mangrove Honeyeater - seems to be in range, and it's
a bird I haven't seen.
Any ideas, and also any good general birding spots for a couple of
hours? We're staying in Surfer's Paradise.
Any advice gratefully received!
Cheers
Tim Jones
