Hi Belinda, The adult male Rose-crowned Fruit-Dove has a purple wash on the breast and an orage and yellow belly. I would think that the most likely ID for your bird would be an immature male Rose-crowned Fruit-Dove beginning to assume its adult colours. You didn't get a photo did you? Regards Greg Clancy |
