Effects of call playback on birds

Hi All,

I agree. I do quite a bit of playback, pishing, and owl imitations, so I have
buckets of anectdotal evidence. But there is no empirical data as far as I
know. Do you know anyone with money willing to fund such research? If you do,
my anecdotal evidence tells me it would be better spent on projects of habitat
conservation.

Good Birding,

Rich

There appears to be very little empirical research published on the
issue, Graham. Virtually everything I've come across on the subject
appeared to be subjective / anecdotal.

Regards, Laurie.
