Don't know, that would need working out. I imagine though that one would
simply send them to some institution such as a recognised birding group
in those countries. It would be up to them or the recipient to organise
initial repairs and maintenance.

I have sent a message to associate who is working on program in Aust. to
get young people involved in birding re possibility of recycling and
using old binocs.
Will post a notice if we come up with anything...
I am sure there would be many valid recipients here and overseas... of
course you must be happy with end point for them. Maybe another
consideration must be - what does the user do with them - the next time
they need attention.
