True, although I've heard than some skill and luck is required to get a slave to trigger reliably. I bought one and had no luck, but that site mentions that this is likely because of my camera's preflash, so thanks for that link. Some cameras, possibly including my S3, can work with an optional radio controlled slave, which would be much more reliable. You have to fork out extra for them of course.
