Help on ID, please Christmas gift for all those who like a puzzle! See six pictures (sorry for less than perfect quality) at http://picasaweb.google.com/AxedaleBirdos This bird was observed bathing so some of the pictures have the bird's appearance affected by being wet. I feel it is an immature/female Robin, by size, eye colour, eye ring on some pics, but which Robin?? Minimal or no wing bars showing, no forehead spot. All hints and observations welcome. Habitat is dry Central Victorian woodland. Happy Christmas to all! Bob Cook Axedale VIC. =============================== www.birding-aus.org birding-aus.blogspot.com To unsubscribe from this mailing list, send the message: unsubscribe (in the body of the message, with no Subject line) to: =============================== |
