No, I believe there was a second group of rats fed non GM canola, that did not
display the same mortality and birth defects. The main point they were trying
to get across is this GM canola has not been tested at ALL in feeding trials,
only a few small independent trials that have showed bad results, that have
been ignored by the people pushing this stuff onto us. I am not aware if any
bird species that would specifically feed on canola but I would assume there
would be some? Once we release this there is no turning back. Do we need
another mistake of the scale of the cane toads? I for one would prefer not to
take the risk with our health and the environment.

I have read of thoses tests. Did they say what happens when they feed them
normal canola? Maybe the stuff's no good for them anyway in those quantities.
