I still feel that it's an intertemporal off-gripping.

However, in our defence, there was a rather large bushfire bearing down
on us at the time...

Under those circumstances, permit me to say this:

We were looking for just those birds, in just that spot!

Hi all,
Greg Sanderson has just rung me to say that the area around Gama has
just had over 3 inches of rain, and that the nearby 4000 ha Lascelles -
Wathe FFR fire is under control. At Gama he saw up to 3 Black Honeyeater
(including one male) and 15 White-fronted Honeyeater near the corner of
Gama Sea Lake Rd & Sunraysia Hwy.
I've also noticed (via the excellent DSE Fire Emergency site mentioned
by Martin below) that the 15000 ha Little Desert-Salt Lake Track fire is
under control.
Cheers,
Tim Dolby
