You'll never get it through the Grants Committee unless you can fit Global Warming into it. How about, "The measurement of the correlation of global warming and Cracticus torquatus attempted predation of movement restricted Melopsittacus undulatus in urban environments". The owner gets hot under the collar. Sorry - couldn't resist - didn't try very hard though.
