Hi Keith and all, A couple of weeks ago I watched intrigued as half a dozen House Sparrows foraged through a couple of small Black Box trees in our garden exactly as a Honeyeater would. The trees weren't flowering, but had plenty of insect life amongst the foliage. Perhaps searching for food for their dependant young. What next ?, will it be Honeyeaters cracking wheat ? !. Cheers, Simon Starr. |
