I have been hearing Whipbirds in the last few days alongside the Enogerra
Creek reserve in The Gap in west Brisbane for the last few days (this is
about 1 km east of the Brisbane Forest Park !). The odd thing is they are
very uncommon in this area - I remember very few occurrences in this reserve
and I have lived here for 24 years.

Colin,
Up on the Blackall Range Eastern Whipbirds call year long. I can't
recall a day when we don't hear them calling.
