Hi Alan and all,

The yellow crest feathers of Sulphur-crested Cockatoos are also used in the
bowers here in the Blue Mountains. And speaking of well-prepared
bowerbirds, I have seen one bower at Leura which contains a bright blue
condom! It obviously wasn't used with one female bowerbird which I observed
building a nest the other day.
