Thanks to all those who replied to the field guide survey #3 - voting has now closed, and a total of 165 people responded.  The best previous response was just over 70 (see http://www.bluep.com/~oco/Fguide.html).

Results and analyses will follow in gory detail at a later date, but for those who might be interested, here are the raw results.

In comparison to past surveys, both the Pizzey/Doyle and Slater x 3 guides have lost a little bit of ground - seemingly picked up by Morcombe.  The clear favourites however remain 1) Pizzey/Knight, and 2) Slater x 3.

Later analysis will include reasons given for these preferences, and the results analysed by birders' age, birding experience, gender, etc.  Stay tuned ....
