My recollection is that I used to see YTBCs in the Eastern Suburbs only in the winter months. Recently I've seen what seems to be smaller numbers into the summer (my commute takes me past Moore Park). Prior to this winter I'd seen only one YTBC in Glebe where I live. This winter I've seen flocks of 5-30 several times/week. I've also seen them elsewhere in in the inner west including at Rodd Point sitting low in a Casurina has people walked within few metres of them. I'm looking forward to habituated YTBC being common in inner Sydney.
