Cockatoos in Sydney

In Column 8 of todays Sydney Morning Herald:
"Sighted around Bondi Beach and the eastern suburbs - a flock of yellow-tailed black cockatoos. It's a large bird, with a distinctive haunting cry, normally a forest dweller and a relatively rare visitor to the city. A seaside holiday perhaps?"


Perhaps Sydney birdos might like to e-mail Column 8 m("smh.com.au","column8");>  and point out just what the situation is.
