It (the suggested poor singing ability) certainly hasn't lessened their
"fitness" in a general sense - they now occupy very diverse habitat and
climatic zones in Australia, and are still steadily spreading into
semi-arid and subtropical bits of Australia in addition to the more
predictable temperate bits. A very successful feral.
